Our goal of installing this public art in the hospital is to comfort people’s heart and to relieve the pain from the disease through the concept of art therapy. In addition, we hope to cultivate one’s mind through public artwork. Shalom Arts Consulting Inc. plan this project with the topic “Caring for Life, and Spiritual Healing”. Through launching the open call for commission of public art, we not only demonstrate the value of Taiwanese University Hospital Yunlin Branch, recognized by the hospital staff and the patient, but we also embody the features from the local environment in order to show the dedication of the hospital serving the needs of local communities.
