Public art planning
Besides the creation of art woks, the installation of public art requires the dialogue with the space and community, and the expertise to produce and execute the installation. Large-scale public art projects require thorough planning of the overall art theme, invitation for artists to submit proposals based on the characteristics of the base, assistance to the artists in completing the installation in accordance with the procedures, and lastly, overall marketing and promotion.
Shalom Arts Consulting, Inc. has rich experiences in the planning and implementation of public art installations. The team has cooperated with artists to complete major public art projects such as Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2, Tainan Art Museum, Taichung World Flora Exposition Fengyuan Huludun Park Area, Weiwuying, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and National Defense Medical Center.
In 2016, the Hsinchu County Stadium Public Art Project won the Best Public Art Creation by the Ministry of Culture.
In 2018, the National Taiwan University Public Art Project won the Public Art Education Promotion Award by the Ministry of Culture.
