Taipei City Wenshan District Xingyan Social Welfare Building Public Art Project

“Journey of Love” In the planning stage, this project sought to transform the atmosphere of the space of the Wenshan District social welfare office through artworks, using the abundant journey of art and spiritual comfort to bring greater morale. Artworks can draw our attention away from our weaknesses and transform our thoughts. No matter whether its through sight, hearing or touch, artworks can give us an all-enveloping sense of tranquility and relaxation, nourishing our spirit and encouraging our bodies and minds. In the “Journey of Love” public art project we invited six artists, to use weaving, ceramics and quilting to express the puzzle pieces of life’s journey of love, creating 12 permanent installations along with 9 large event series of over 40 public participation events. This puzzle of love will continue without end!
