Shalom Arts Consulting, Inc. was invited by the DADA ART R&D Co. Ltd. to plan this project. This artwork shows the great contribution of Dr. David Landsborough. Dr. David Landsborough brought not only the development and modernization of the medical field, but also the health education, and founding the Changhua Hospital in Taiwan. This is truly an example of loving others with the love of Christ.

In addition to installing the enormous carved busts of Dr. Landsborough and his wife, Shalom Arts also researched Dr. Landsborough’s notable quotes and selected photographs of his practice in medicine to display in the Chenggong Park in Changhua City. We hope to invite visitors to this public art installation in memory of David Landsborough, recalling his faith, spiritual beliefs, and life practices while also appreciating his presence within their memory.

For the public participation event, Shalom Arts donate one hundred brand new children’s books as well as calling on the community to donate books together. Ultimately, Shalom Arts collected about six hundred children’s books and gifted them to four Changhua charities for underprivileged families.
